ABSTRACT
The relationship between science, technology and security has changed significantly since the end of the Cold War and many leading nations were quick to realise the need to reshape these relationships to meet current and future national security needs. Technology today is playing an increasingly important role in protecting national interests and projecting national power. National security is now perceived more in terms of Comprehensive National Power (CNP) that will determine the future power balance equations among nations.
