ABSTRACT
Infrastructure is the means to an end. The existence of infrastructure makes other economic activities possible. The most important infrastructure, of course, is law and order. Law and order presupposes both internal security and safety from external aggressors. Taking these two as given, the chapter examines the various kinds of infrastructure that are important for a stronger India.
