ABSTRACT
This chapter covers a number of issues relating to wisdom learning, or, more specifi cally, educating for wisdom. Three main points are emphasised: (a) greater wisdom is needed in the world; (b) wisdom can be learned; and (c) institutions of higher learn ing are obligated to foster the development of wisdom, though have been remiss in doing so.
