ABSTRACT

The ConArte Internacional ‘Planters’ projects are pilot schemes lasting two years in primary and secondary schools that have a high cultural diversity index and a proven track record of being open to educational innovation through dance and music. The project is based on the principles of UNESCO’s (UNESCO 2006, 2010) Seoul Agenda for arts education, which recommends encouraging coordinated work between specialist schoolteachers and professional artists to boost the educational capacity of art, especially those schools in diverse and complex locations.
