ABSTRACT
Anthony and Aman Yap Choong Boon, founders/choreographers of Dua Space Dance Theatre (DSDT), do not hurry to compose a dance for wheelchair dancers. They both observe the dancers’ physical ability and limitations to avoid injury: How far can the arms reach? How far can the torso twist and tilt? Are they able to leave the wheelchairs with the support of their arms? How fast can they travel in the wheelchair?
