ABSTRACT

The co-operation in construction is just like a network characterised by correspondingly complex organisational structures. In addition to the examination of the similarities of the network features in the co-operation in construction, a further aspect has to be considered in order to describe the proximity of both organisations, namely the regulatory areas in the network and the co-operation in construction. The co-operation in construction features a need for coordination that is similar to the network. The co-operation in construction is accompanied by a need for co-operation from which the duties of coordination and the rights of coordination of the parties involved can be deduced. Network-like organisations such as the co-operation in construction are usually coordinated in bilateral independent exchange agreements. The comparison of the network features in the co-operation in construction has shown that there are features of the network that comply with the features of the co-operation in construction.
