ABSTRACT

This chapter presents a methodology for systematising the basic doctrine of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) by simulating a defence operation in the Brazilian maritime jurisdiction known as the Pre-Salt area. It outlines much more than the ability to understand the relationship of media and people in the 21st century, but also provides opportunities for interactions, using a theoretical basis devoted to military science in military institutions in the United States (US), France, China, England, Russia, and Israel. The discussed work begins with a statement of the problem, objective, and hypothesis, then provides a brief literature review, and finally a discussion of the methodological proposal. The methodology is based on two pillars: the preparation of a conceptual map outlining the doctrine of the FAB, and the generation of database reduction criteria involved in the simulations of military leaders of the Brazilian aerospace sector, using multivariate analysis (MVA) and the factor analysis tool in statistical package for social sciences (SPSS).
