ABSTRACT

Innovation outcomes involve behaviour. Innovation does not exist without an action, and no action exists without an experience. Engagement in the iPhone innovation is defining, one moment in time, the best circumstances for the way you experience life. The journey of any discovery from the condition of invention to that of innovation, involving adding to its form the state in which we find the discovery, or the original practical function state of any invention the goals of motivation and the actions of behaviour. The conceptual model of innovation as a relationship experience is: motivation leads to behaviour; behaviour leads to action; action leads to relationship; relationship leads to satisfying the goal. There is a Big Idea at the root of every innovation, and engaging in the process of producing innovations with the Big Idea in mind is a key in delivering outcomes of benefit to users. Technology frequently reshapes the artifacts use, but rarely does it reshape the Big Idea.
