ABSTRACT

The Anglican Church of Kenya is guided by the mission ‘to bring all people into a living relationship with God through Jesus Christ, through preaching, teaching, healing and social transformation and enabling them to grow in faith and live life in its fullness’. 1 True to this commitment, the Anglican Church of Kenya has continued to grow in leaps and bounds, both spiritually and numerically. The beginning, which stretches back over 170 years is credited to the work of Church Mission Society (CMS) and is as humble as it can get.
