ABSTRACT
This chapter draws upon the work of Mick Pearce, an internationally renowned Zimbabwean architect, to show how indigenous solutions drawn from nature can yield excellent results in resolving societal problems and innovations. African knowledge rhythms will no doubt speak to the souls of our Zimbabwean people and can be the springboard for their individual and organisational knowledge creation and societal learning. The chapter realises that you get much better results when you employ a multifaceted approach. Indeed, working with Matupire and Chinyuku, and implementing all three models together has been a blessing to the organizations. It experiences in the development of the Calabash of Knowledge Creation through the Turnall CI group, Denhe re Ruzivo, and through Pundutso. Chinyuku's Industrial Ecology resonates with both Integral Leadership and Knowledge Creation. Integral Leadership is needed in a person who has the capacity to see beyond the day-to-day business competition and derive value from working relationally together with the competition for a common cause.
