ABSTRACT
This methodological chapter addresses the formalism of the model of the evolutionary learning paradigm conceptualized within the framework of the sustainable development paradigm. The methodological substance of this chapter crosses interdisciplinary boundaries of epistemology, political economy, and mathematical modeling, formalizing a cogent model of sustainability and sustainable development. It uses synergistic circular causation relationships between human potential, philanthropy and the measurement of the wellbeing objective criterion. The conceptual and applied perspectives of this kind of evolutionary learning model are presented. The evolutionary learning model of circular causation between human potential, philanthropy and the objective of wellbeing of the interactive, integrative and evolutionary variables is shown to apply to the labor market adaptation issues of Canadian Natives. The principal contribution of the chapter is its epistemological groundwork of formalizing a moral–social reconstructive model of unity of knowledge. The positivistic and normative unified perspective of the model is presented.
