Conclusion: The Islamization of Knowledge and its Implication in Islamic Financial Economics
The field of Islamic economics, finance, and banking gained momentum alongside the academic project of the Islamicization of knowledge and education. It is, therefore, briefly relevant to note whether or not the scholarship was synergized between these two areas of erudition and practice: ideas rule the world. The conclusive observation in this regard is that there have been multiple gaps between the two realms. They ought to be unified by a distinctive methodology of unity of knowledge as the foundational episteme. Such an episteme that has been developed and made functional in applications in this book is the monotheistic law of unity of knowledge and its consequential induction and interpretation of the unified world of matter and mind. The same kind of intellection has not been experienced in the presently held theory and practice of Islamic economics, finance, and banking.
