ABSTRACT
The aim of this chapter is to explore the articulations between the temporal dimension of public policies and that of landscape dynamics from an economic angle. Public authorities intervene to accompany the evolution of landscape through specific or sectoral policies. These interventions take the form of various landscape preservation, management and development actions. They involve mediation between different collective actions by both present and future generations.
