ABSTRACT
In this chapter we analyse in detail the development of the tariff levels for solar photovoltaics over time. This is the last chapter comparing the policy designs in Germany, Spain and France. In line with the three previous chapters, in this chapter we analyse the causes of policy convergence, focusing on our three hypotheses revolving around transnational communication, regulatory competition and independent problem solving. We want to understand the reasons for increasing policy similarities in the EU.
