This might be a slightly glib way to illustrate the point, but the underlying fact remains: there is a serious gap in young people’s knowledge with regard to some of the world’s major industries and particularly that of air freight. Indeed, this is even more of an issue when you consider that, despite perceptions, the wider logistics industry actually has a number of attributes that would almost certainly appeal to ambitious graduates; this industry simply needs to fi nd a way to convey this message if it is to attract the top talent that it really needs.
