ABSTRACT

Work overload is one of the primary factors that creates burnout at work (Maslach & Leiter, 2008; Skovholt & Trotter-Mathison, 2011). In a similar vein, “time pressure” was indicated as the number-one everyday stressor by the more than 30,000 teachers surveyed, with 47% of teachers (and 58% of teachers who report being often stressed) reporting this as a daily contributor to stress (American Federation of Teachers, 2015).
