ABSTRACT

The Canadian Journal of School Psychology (CJSP) was first published in the early 1980s at the University of British Columbia. CJSP invites papers that will inform Canadian school psychologists in their everyday professional work with all children and allow for the sharing of authors knowledge and expertise with school psychologists from around the world. Following the restructuring of CJSP in 2016, manuscript submissions fall into four categories: regular articles, special issue articles, brief articles and test and book reviews. All reputable journals have clear guidelines for writing and submitting manuscripts, and fortunately there is considerable overlap making obvious the task of authors. If the manuscript is forwarded for review, the associate editor will then recommend acceptance, revision and resubmission, or rejection, although the final decision in all cases rests with the editor. Preparation of manuscripts should follow the edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.
