Way of the Brave: An Indigenous Perspective on “Character Education”

Character education will be another failed effort at school reform unless we replace ideas associated with authority and conformity with a more spiritual awareness about the authentic goals of a virtuous life. A successful model for this alternative exists within indigenous ways of knowing.
