The DPJ’s mismanagement of government and party: was Ozawa alone to blame?

Was he the chief architect of the change of government, or just a corrupt political opportunist? Party realignment and the framework of government had revolved upon an “Ozawa versus anti-Ozawa” axis in other recent chapters of Japanese political history. The same proved true of the three year, three month DPJ government, which was continually rocked by party conflict that once again centered upon Ichirō Ozawa.
