ABSTRACT

Introduction Codes Combined, an interdisciplinary colloquium, brought together practitioners and stakeholders working and researching in the field of elite competitive sport. The central purpose was for the stakeholders to discuss key themes and underlying issues that were prevalent in the Australian Football League (AFL) and the English Premier League (EPL) in the second decade of the twenty-first century. The colloquium was designed to provide an evaluation of sporting codes’ anti-racism policy management frameworks during the past 30 years in order to address the ongoing question of racism in sport.
