The Theatre of Mistakes' core group's ensemble work, going, enacted what the group called being each other. Jason Bowman has remarked on the unusual wealth of documentation produced by The Theatre of Mistakes. The subtitle to 'The Theatre of Mistakes' was 'a performance art group'.
