There are many challenges that parents and families face when it comes to raising children in the digital age. The first step toward understanding the impact of digital media on a family is to set the context for what it means to be raising children in a digital age. In order to face the challenges with digital media, families can enact a comprehensive media integration plan. A technology philosophy is a framework for families to use to help them navigate the challenges and opportunities that come from engaging in a digitally connected society. Technology Inventory provides an opportunity for individuals to take stock of the different online tools they use every day, to consider carefully the purpose of each tool. Every online social network, game, mobile application, and software program has an End User License Agreement (EULA). It is imperative that individuals read the EULA of a site to be sure they agree are willing to conform to requirements.
