ABSTRACT
Dr. Lis Lange is the acting vice rector (academic) of the University of the Free State (UFS) and senior director of the Directorate for Institutional Research and Academic Planning (DIRAP). Prior to arriving at the UFS in 2011, Dr. Lange was the executive director of the Higher Education Quality Committee of the Council for Higher Education, which is responsible for quality assurance of private and public institutions of higher education, and the acting CEO of the Council on Higher Education, which advises the minister of higher education.
