The dialogue between the conventional view that a health holiday is one that oers visitors a form of luxury spa with healthy food or no food, physical treatments, classes and exercises, thermal baths and the like, and a more niche view that health can best be promoted in holiday community retreats that enable participants to go inward as well as outward, revise their lives as well as exercise their bodies, is one that has not yet been suciently aired in the literature on health tourism.
