ABSTRACT
A number of jurisdictions aspire to improve energy efficiency, strengthen energy system security and resilience, and achieve deep greenhouse gas emissions reductions in coming decades. Tackling these multiple aims will require far-reaching overhaul of energy systems. Transitions will be needed in all aspects of the system; from core infrastructure, through transformation, down to technology choice and behaviour in end-use sectors.
