Advertising regulation in Denmark is covered by both legal and self-regulatory bodies. In the latter, the advertising industry itself provides guidelines as well. There is a Consumer Ombudsman (Forbrugerombudsmanden) and a Marketing Practices Act, both of which fall under the legal regulation framework. The Danish system follows the Codes of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
