ABSTRACT
The study of mathematics content and pedagogyrequires an in-depth understanding of the cog-nitive and intellectual processes in the course of human development. Accordingly, this chapter deals with the course of an individual’s most basic cognitive forms of mathematical knowledge-quantitative development and spatial development.
