ABSTRACT
Joshua Greenstein is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at the New School for Social Research in New York, USA. He holds an MA in International Affairs, also from the New School.
Ugo Gentilini, at the time of writing this article, was a Social Protection Specialist with the United Nations World Food Programme. With a PhD in Development Economics, he has worked and published on a range of issues related to social protection, poverty and food security.
