The group involved consisted of two girls and four boys, from differ ent classes. They knew each other but were not close friends. The bully ing took place in the school playground and on the way to and from school. It was in the form of phys ical attacks as well as name calling and had been taking place for three weeks. As school coun sel lor, the bully ing incid ent was repor ted to me by the Head of Year. He had found out about the bully ing from the target, who had bruis ing.
