ABSTRACT

The data from the Critical Connections project draws upon to illustrate how the project facilitated learning across different sites, as well as making a close link between these sites. These data have highlighted that the project has provided a range of flexible ways to facilitate learning across different sites and to closely connect these sites. This chapter discusses the range of roles that parents played in the project to support their children's learning. During the course of this project, most students worked collaboratively on their stories. One of the critical processes involved in collaborative working is peer assessment. The project has a designated website, the main page of which can be accessed by schools, teachers, students, parents or anyone interested in this project. In addition to the public webpage, the project website includes school and project team blogs, both of which are password protected.
