I have been developing the ideas presented in this chapter over many years in my practice as a therapist, consultant and supervisor using a systemic and social constructionist framework. To give a context to my working practice, I have been self-employed for many years. From this position I have supervised trainees to support their learning in systemic and social constructionist approaches and I have consulted to quali¿ed professionals experienced in this approach and to practitioners interested to learn more about this way of working.
