ABSTRACT
As introduced in Chapter 2, very early in the Project Conception Phase of The Development Process, the Developer will need to identify, engage, and assemble into a Development Team various professional services providers, including lawyers, land planners, architects, civil engineers, market analysts, and communications and marketing experts, to assist the Developer in the process of testing and refining “the Idea” into a viable Project concept. This means the Developer will need to enter into Professional Services Agreements with each of these service providers. These Professional Services Agreements will define the Scope of Work of the professional services to be provided and the compensation the Developer will owe each service provider in exchange for their respective Scope of Work.
