On a summer evening, I walk through the deserted downtown of Bodø, in Northern Norway. A light breeze creeps down every street and alley, turning the air chilly, though the midnight sun lights the world brightly. Much of the rest of the town is at a bonfire, celebrating the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. I got tired of watching families grill hot dogs around portable grills, so I’m off to figure out where the rest of the twenty-somethings are tonight.
