ABSTRACT
The opening of New Industrialized Countries such as Malaysia to foreign investment has offered a new application field for the entrance of international strategic alliances (Islam & Chowdhury, 2000). The formal international strategic alliance is characterized by the creation of a legal and organizational entity distinct from local and foreign partners, but co-managed by them (Lorange, et al., 1992; Culpan, 2009).
