ABSTRACT

Choices in general are often related to two concepts: judgment and decision-making. Current taxonomies used to classify decision-making vary across a wide range of dimensions. Ecological dynamic approach: In an ecological dynamic approach the pass options are attractors on an attractor landscape with various depths. Research on expert perception and decision-making in sport has expanded substantially in the last few decades. Cognitive or decision-making skills are based on the interpretation of information acquired through perceptual skills and its suitability for effective response selection. Vision scientists and optometrists, who are interested in characteristics at the level of the visual receptors, consider the “hardware” components of the visual information-processing system to discriminate experts from novices. Professional team sports represent physically and perceptual-cognitively demanding environments, with incorrect refereeing decisions having a great impact on the financial interests of several actors. Even relatively small amounts of decision-making training enhance decision-making performance.
