ABSTRACT

This empirical study explores relative beliefs of social workers and clients concerning what constitutes a “healthy family.” It examines the traits of strong marriages and compares the relative views of husbands, wives, and workers. Several significant differences were found including differences in the relative importance of love, understanding, and cooperation.
