chapter  1
International education and development: using multiple lenses or remaining in multiple silos?
BySimon McGrath, Qing Gu
Pages 6

The contributions that comprise this Handbook represent a set of test pits dug into the complex field of international education and development. As with archaeological test pits, the chapters may provide important insights into what the field looks like as a whole, but it is possible, indeed likely, that important details are missing. Nonetheless, even from this fragmentary picture, it is immediately obvious that the field of international education and development is characterised by great diversity.
