ABSTRACT
So, when I got back to M ich igan and my asthma cl ient was c o m i n g up to see me, I was thinking about the story. In the only story he told me about asthma, the kid d ied . Great. So there is a story where the end ing is not positive and it causes you to think about it a bit. What I conc luded was I had better work with the parents' anxiety, because the parents' anxiety k i l led the k id . That is what the story said to me. A n d by not tel l ing me how to deal with this k id , Erickson let me treat the cl ient in a unique way. I don' t even know if that is the point he wanted me to get.
