Group Learning in Organizations

WithLinda Argote, Deborah Gruenfeld, Charles Naquin

Interest in the topic of group learning has increased markedly in recent years. Several theoretical pieces have been written on groups as information-processing systems (e.g., Klimoski & Mohammed, 1994; Larson & Christensen, 1993; Levine & Moreland, 1991; Wegner, 1986). A growing body of empirical research has examined how groups distribute and share information and combine their individual inputs into a collective product.
