Climate change, ecocide and the crimes of the powerful

ByRob White

Climate justice is ultimately a matter of addressing the systemic and organisational crimes of the powerful that are destroying environments and contributing to global warming and climate change. The race by the powerful to exploit increasingly scarce environmental resources is placing an incredible strain on vulnerable ecosystems worldwide. As well as directly and indirectly contributing to global warming and climate change, these activities are also increasingly a source of violent social conflict.
