Introduction: Making Sense of Longitudinal Perspectives on Literacy Learning—A Revisiting Approach
This is an unusual volume about educational research in the current political climate. Bringing together experienced researchers from the US, Canada, the UK and Australia, it does not directly address the problems of schooling in these countries. It does not particularly engage with current debates about classroom management, curriculum policy or effective pedagogy. Yet we think the project of this volume is at the heart of all teachers’ and all policy-makers’ interests in education.
