What’s Research Got to Do with It?: Moving Theory into Practice in Grades 1–3

BySam Oertwig, Adam Holland, Gisele M. Crawford, Sharon Ritchie, Nitasha M. Clark

Therefore, this chapter will not attempt to discuss every aspect of what teachers of young children and their school leaders need to know. Instead, the focus will be on two essential dispositions for teaching and three important, yet often unaddressed, 21st century educational principles that should undergird every primary teacher’s approach to classroom practice in 1st through 3rd grade.
