Bright Bricks, Dark Play: On the Impossibility of Studying LEGO
My fi rst LEGO set was 6363 Auto Repair Shop. My dad had bought it for me. He is an architect and probably thought it would be nice to teach me about bricks. I must be around 3 or 4 and I can’t remember how I played with that particular set but looking at the tooth marks on the bricks (they are in such a shape that I can still recognize them) I probably didn’t play with them as he intended.
