ABSTRACT

For many librarians, working abroad is something they just dream about. All of the librarians who wrote articles for this book have made that dream a reality. But while they share this one trait, their experiences range widely, in length from a few weeks to many years, and geographically across every continent except Antarctica. The book demonstrate that there are many ways to combine work and travel. It shows how law libraries in the US compare to those overseas and how the typical law librarian's skills, honed in one country, will work in another.
