Nepal is a small beautiful country; known as the land of Mount Everest and the birth place of Lord Buddha. It has a population of 26,494,504. A decade-long political conflict has been resolved and the country is now headed towards political stability following election of a Constitution Drafting Assembly. The population is predominantly rural and approximately a quarter of people still live below the poverty line. The majority of the population depends on agriculture, and the economy has not made progress due to the dependency of its GDP on India.
