ABSTRACT
Based on the state of the art of social responsibility studies and policies and previous discussion to reframe social responsibility from an exclusive focus on the sphere of corporate actors towards policy coherence among different actors and its institutional contexts, the chapter proposes an umbrella concept of multi-actor, multilevel and territorial social responsibility – the Master Model©. The Master Model© connects different actors’ policies on social responsibility at different territorial levels with the main objective to serve as a mapping tool for integrating social responsibility to development and equity goals in policies and research.
