ABSTRACT
Apart from his anti-theological theology, contained in his novels, Kafka wrote a work that combines theology and philosophy, while being both anti-theological and anti-philosophical. These are the Zürau aphorisms, written during the autumn of 1917, ‘the best time of his life’ (Citati 2007: 207).
