ABSTRACT
The aim of this chapter is to provide an overview of the importance of conducting cold case reviews for missing person cases. It touches on the procedures in the UK, giving an idea of some of the good practice that is in place to ensure all relevant opportunities are progressed to resolve these cases, and then identifies some of the limitations and areas where further research could aid the search.
