[U]sing visual aids helps encourage prayer. Perhaps a large world map or colourful flags would help. If you know people who have traveled widely, consider borrowing souvenirs from them which help people see or feel a foreign culture. … Perhaps you can think of a symbol which will help illustrate prayer. To depict that prayer helps break through spiritual darkness in the 10/40 Window, one church set up a large map with black paper over each of the 10/40 Window countries. Each time they prayed, they removed one of the black coverings to reveal the colourful country underneath.
