ABSTRACT
Although Austin Farrer would not ever have considered himself “a great theologian,” he has been deemed by distinguished thinkers as “the one genius” of twentieth-century Anglican theology. Amongst those who have publicly accredited him with honour is The Most Revd Dr Rowan Williams, former Archbishop of Canterbury, whose tribute to Farrer remains indisputable—“Possibly the greatest Anglican mind of the 20th century.”
